TRAINING & EDUCATION

Rooted in attachment psychology, recovery capital, and adventure-based practice. THERAPIST TRAINING
Our therapist training provides a comprehensive introduction to the four core modules of our adventure-based recovery method. Through a blend of experiential outdoor learning, applied theory, and supervised practice, participants develop competence in attachment-informed facilitation, nature-based intervention design, and the cultivation of recovery capital. This training supports clinicians, coaches, and counselors in expanding their therapeutic palette, enabling them to integrate wilderness settings and adventure practices into their work with confidence, depth, and ethical grounding.

PEER EDUCATION
Our peer-to-peer education pathway offers individuals in recovery an opportunity to step into a meaningful vocational role. Blending personal experience with professional guidance, this program cultivates the practical skills, ethical awareness, and embodied presence required to accompany others on their recovery journey. Participants learn foundational elements of our method, practice group facilitation, and gain supervised field experience. This training builds community capacity, strengthens recovery ecosystems, and provides a structured route into the field of adventure-based counseling.

RESILIENCE PROGRAM
Our prevention work with schools and youth institutions shifts the focus from substance-avoidance messaging to the cultivation of inner resilience, self-leadership, and relational safety. Through experiential outdoor activities and guided reflection, young people learn to recognise their strengths, regulate emotion, and build secure, grounded connections with themselves and others. These programs address the deeper roots of vulnerability—attachment insecurity, disconnection, and lack of belonging—laying the foundation for healthier choices and long-term wellbeing.
